The Flora Clay-County ESDA provides a well-trained Reserve Police force, under the direction of the City of Flora Chief of Police, to assist Flora's regular police force in times of emergency as well as other events.
The Reserve Police are often found at local events such as the Clay County Fair, Flora fireworks display, Flora High School football and basketball games, as well as the Flora Academic Foundation's Appleknocker fundraiser, assisting with traffic control, security and parking.
